Looking for a challenging role in realizing the energy transition?
We are looking for a driven Permit Advisor for 2 Offshore Grid projects. As a Permit Advisor, you will be the driving force behind the permitting process for the construction of cable connections from offshore wind farms to the national high-voltage grid. You will be a vital link in the project team.
As a Permit Advisor, you are responsible for applying for and obtaining the necessary permits. This means you:
• Serves as the primary point of contact for the consultancy firm preparing the applications. Reviews permit inventories, draft applications, and documentation, and collects the necessary data for the applications.
• Continuously coordinates with the competent authority, internal and external stakeholders;
• Supervises the permit procedure, from draft application, handling of comments, final submission and objection and appeal procedures.
Closely collaborates with the (Sub) Project Lead Spatial Planning & Licensing, the technical team, the environmental managers and the external consultancy firm.
Profile
What are you bringing?
• Relevant experience: At least 5 years (preferably 10 years) of experience in the field of permits and knowledge of spatial planning within the consultancy world, grid management world or government;
• Education: At least a completed higher professional education in public administration, law, urban planning, or similar disciplines;
• Current knowledge of and experience with relevant legislation and regulations (including the Environmental Act and Natura 2000 areas);
• Strong communication: You can convey technical information clearly and understandably to various stakeholders and are able to look for solutions in the event of conflicting interests;
• Collaboration: You thrive in a dynamic project environment, are stress-resistant under time pressure, have good communication skills, an eye for detail and are proactive;
• Knowledge of and experience with the Wadden area is an advantage.
