Role Definition

The Civil Engineer participates in the design, planning, and execution of infrastructure projects (buildings, roads, bridges, maritime works, industrial civil engineering, etc.). They ensure technical oversight, compliance with standards, quality, safety, and schedule adherence, collaborating with all project stakeholders (clients, design offices, construction companies, local authorities).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, size, and develop civil engineering projects (structures, foundations, works).

  • Participate in the preparation and validation of plans and technical documents.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and contribute to tender processes.

  • Monitor and control construction progress on site (quality, cost, schedule, safety).

  • Coordinate activities among different stakeholders (architects, engineers, subcontractors, authorities).

  • Ensure works comply with regulations, technical standards, and HSE requirements.

  • Prepare technical reports and communicate with the Project Manager and management.

  • Identify technical risks and propose corrective solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (Master’s level).

  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in civil engineering, preferably on construction or infrastructure projects.

  • Proficient in design and calculation software (AutoCAD, Revit, Robot Structural Analysis, or equivalents).

  • Knowledge of construction standards and local/international regulations.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a project-based environment.

  • Strong organizational skills, autonomy, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.

  • Good communication skills in French and English (advantage depending on projects).

Work Environment

  • Full-time position, site-based.

  • Direct collaboration with Project Managers, HSE and Quality teams, and external partners.
