AVENTA is seeking a highly skilled and comprehensive Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Leader to manage and oversee all combined Electrical and Instrumentation installation, testing, and pre-commissioning activities for the EPC project of the Ricanto Bioenergy Plant in Ajaccio, Corsica.

📝 Key Responsibilities

The E&I Leader will report to the Site Manager and will be responsible for the overall supervision, coordination, and technical direction of the Electrical and Instrumentation scope of work on site. Duties include:

  • Integrated Supervision: Directing and coordinating both the Electrical and Instrumentation teams and subcontractors, ensuring seamless integration and efficient workflow between the two disciplines.

  • Installation Oversight: Supervising the installation, calibration, loop checks, and pre-commissioning of all E&I equipment, including field instruments, control valves, analyzers, DCS/PLC cabinets, cabling, power distribution, and motor control centers (MCCs).

  • Scheduling and Progress: Planning daily and weekly E&I activities, managing resources, and monitoring physical progress against the project schedule. Identifying potential delays and implementing mitigation strategies.

  • Quality Control: Ensuring all installations meet the required quality standards, project specifications, and local French codes/regulations. Managing ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) and witnessing critical tests.

  • Technical Interface: Acting as the primary technical interface for E&I matters with the engineering team, client representatives, and other disciplines on site.

  • Safety Management: Enforcing strict adherence to site HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) procedures, with particular attention to electrical safety protocols (e.g., LOTO procedures, grounding).

  • Documentation: Reviewing and managing E&I documentation, including as-built drawings, termination diagrams, calibration records, and test protocols.

Mandatory Requirements (Must-Have)

To apply for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • EPC Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in supervising or leading combined E&I installation activities within the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) sector, preferably in industrial or process plants.

  • Citizenship: Must hold European citizenship.

  • French Language: Fluent command (spoken and written) of the French language.

  • Technical Knowledge: Proven, strong technical competency in both Electrical systems (MV/LV distribution, transformers, switchgear) and Instrumentation & Control systems (field devices, cabling, control systems).
