English-German Translator (Onsite)

Role Definition

We are seeking a fluent English-German translator for onsite deployment during jointing installation activities as part of the German Corridors Project. The primary role is to facilitate spoken translation to ensure a clear and effective communication chain, particularly in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) matters. The translator must be capable of communicating with local authorities when necessary and ensuring smooth coordination between English-speaking and German-speaking teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide real-time spoken translation between English and German, focusing on HSE-related communication.

• Ensure accurate interpretation of safety procedures, emergency protocols.

• Communicate effectively with local authorities and other stakeholders when required.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English and German (spoken and written).

• Willingness to work onsite in an construction environment.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Saturday, from 07:30 to 17:30.

• Duration: 6-12 months.

• Two night shifts required during the deployment period.
