Role Definition

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strong knowledge of heat transfer

• Strong knowledge in using CFD/FEA simulators (Fluent)

• Perform detailed thermal analyses to validate thermal performance of flowlines, jumpers, subsea structures (FEA/CFD)

• Preparation of design reports

• Understand client needs, identify and address design parameters and issues, develop and implement solutions

• Perform under limited supervision, independently evaluate, organize and prioritize work

• Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed

Qualification

QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION

• Engineer or Scientist with experience in Energy

SKILLS

Essential simulator experience:

• Using CFD/FEA simulators (Fluent)

Interpersonal:

• Ability to communicate at all levels

• Ability to explain complex phenomenon in a comprehensive way

• Proactive attitude

• Experience of working within an integrated team and with several interlocutors

Self Management:

• Excellent timekeeping skills are essential

• Focused to deliver with minimal supervision is essential

EXPERIENCE

3 to 5 years experiences in using CFD/FEA simulators for complex thermal modelling. Experience as Process Engineer/Flow Assurance position is desirable.

Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of heat transfer is essential

• Strong knowledge in CFD/FEA simulation is essential

• Knowledge of insulation material and coating would be desirable

• Knowledge of subsea system operations and interfaces would be desirable

• Knowledge of Oil & Gas Code & Standard (API, DNV…) would be desirable
