FOCS Design/Product Engineer H/F

Role Definition

• Draft, issue and/or verify technical documentation, drawings and schematics and ensure compliancy with the contract requirements, the applicable codes, regulations and standards and internal guidelines/good practises

• Address Client and other stakeholder requests and comments to documentation

• Support production, testing, delivery and installation of FO cables and components/accessories

• review/comment engineering deliverables issued by subcontractors/suppliers (ASN, civil work & installation subcontractors  and/or components (e.g. DTS) & accessories suppliers)

• Coordinate internal interfaces with other engineering departments (power cable design, installation, civil work design)

• Contribute and check final/as-built documentation (FAT reports, manufacturing record books)

• Identify risks and opportunities and propose mitigations

• Attend engineering and management meetings as required

Qualification

• University degree BSc, MSc or similar

• Experienced Engineer with good knowledge and experience in telecommunication technology and ability to work with other engineering disciplines such as installation and electrical system design.

• Personal qualities: Proactive, Determined, Accountable, Good communication and co-operation skills

• Fluent in English – oral and written
