HSE Engineer for Offshore Operations – OWF Project

Project Overview:

This large project involves the installation and burial of a 500 km high-voltage cable between Brittany, France, and Southern Ireland.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: minimum 3-5 years in similar HSE roles, with a focus on Offshore Cable, Offshore Wind Farms (OWF), Oil & Gas, or Marine projects.
  • Location: Based in Paris, with the option to work remotely for up to two days per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Compliance: Oversee the proper implementation of project-specific HSE procedures on mobilized vessels.
  • Documentation Review: Conduct thorough reviews of subcontractor documentation to ensure alignment with project standards.
  • Reporting: Consolidate and manage reports from subcontractors, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Incident Management: Monitor and manage incidents, including analysis, implementation of corrective actions, and closure.
  • Risk Assessments: Lead all necessary HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) and HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) sessions.
  • Vessel Inspections: Conduct vessel inspections during crew changes in the UK, Ireland, or France.
