Role Definition
Position Summary
We are looking for a material engineer with experience with materials engineering and specifically with experience in line pipes, bends, and other fittings procurement.
The candidate shall be familiar with preparation of materials specifications, data sheets, materials requisition and purchase requisitions for line pipes, bends, forgings, bolts&nuts, flanges, etc…
The candidate shall have knowledge of welding engineering, in order to understand the key requirements to specify and analyze during pipes procurement and which can affect the welding process.
The candidate shall be familiar with Aramco, QE and ADNOC standards.
The candidate shall have proven experience in handling packages for CRA materials: HRB, WOL and MLP pipes.
The candidate shall be able to prepare technical clarifications related to CS pipes, CRA pipes [HRB / MLP / WOL], CS bends and WOL, flanges, gaskets, bolts&nuts.
The candidate shall be able to prepare technical bid evaluations.
The candidate shall have experience with offshore pipeline projects.
