1. Activities

The Service Provider shall perform the following:

  • Develop and update Electrical Safety Rules and procedures (in line with NFC 18-510 and local regulations).

  • Ensure application of electrical safety for all installations and activities.

  • Review and validate contractors’ documentation: Safety Plans, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Manuals, etc.

  • Define electrical safety organization for optimized LV/MV/HV network operation.

  • Develop and implement a Permit to Work (PTW) system aligned with safety rules.

  • Manage access and authorization for electrical works.

  • Monitor LV/MV/HV systems, notify anomalies.

  • Ensure commissioning safety and operations until hand-over to O&M teams.

  • Align with O&M for network transition and lessons learned.

Engineering / Protocol Preparation (Daily Tasks)

  • Join project/stakeholder/MCC daily calls.

  • Coordinate with other operators during switching operations.

  • Draft switching protocols, RA/MS/Isolation diagrams.

  • Conduct emergency response coordination.

  • Liaise with RTE CEX.

  • Prepare/review switching schedules and audits.

  • Act as Control Engineer/Chargé de consignation (apply/remove LOTO, switch remotely).

  • Conduct electrical safety audits and inspections.

  • Develop training for electrical safety.

  • Lead authorization panels, prepare certificates.

  • Provide electrical advice.

  • Attend FAT, HAT, SAT, SIT as needed.

  • Maintain Electrical Safety logbook.

Switching Operations / Handover Preparation (Daily Tasks)

  • Monitor all remote switching.

  • Control access to electrical rooms, manage key custody.

  • Issue and distribute safety clearance and acceptance certificates.

  • Monitor SCADA systems pre-handover.

  • Participate in operational handover to O&M for OSS, intra-array, and export cables.

  • Maintain daily operational logs.

  • Include O&M in on-site safety procedures.

2. Participation in Meetings & Workshops

2.1 Coordination Meetings

  • Monthly meetings with the Client to:

    • Assess contract execution performance

    • Review upcoming/ending activities

    • Discuss issues and lessons learned

  • Held in Paris-La Défense or remotely.

  • Agenda evolves during the contract.

2.2 Ad Hoc Meetings & Workshops

  • Additional sessions may be organized as needed by the Client.

2.3 Role Requirements

  • Experience as Lead SAP or Control Engineer

  • Knowledge of EU/French standards in electrical safety and operations

  • Proven MV/HV network operation and protection experience

  • Experience in wind farm commissioning or operations
