Role Definition
The Lifting Superintendent is responsible for the planning, coordination, and safe execution of all lifting operations during the construction. He ensure that lifting activities are carried out in compliance with project procedures, HSE requirements, and industry best practices, while maintaining schedule and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the lifting plan for the project, including cranes, rigging, and lifting equipment.

Review lifting procedures and risk assessments for all heavy lifts.

Coordinate lifting activities with the construction team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with HSE standards, company policies, and client requirements during all lifting operations.

Supervise rigging, hoisting, and lifting activities on site, ensuring the use of certified equipment.

Provide technical guidance to the lifting team and other site personnel.

Participate in site meetings and report on lifting progress, incidents, and risks.

Inspect lifting equipment and ensure proper maintenance and certification.

Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions as required.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Lifting Superintendent in construction

Strong knowledge of lifting operations, rigging, cranes, and related equipment.

Familiarity with HSE regulations, ISO standards, and industry best practices for lifting.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, lifting plans, and risk assessments.

Strong leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to manage subcontractors and site teams.
Work Environment

Full-time, site-based position, potentially including offshore or remote sites.

Direct collaboration with Project Managers, HSE teams, and construction teams.
