Mechanical Engineer

Role Definition

Aventa is looking for a mechanical Engineer for an FPSO project :

• Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

• Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and stress analysis on designs.

• Develop and test prototypes, evaluate performance, and make necessary adjustments.

• Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation including specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and test reports.

• Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure design compatibility and manufacturability.

• Participate in product design reviews and provide technical feedback.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

• Troubleshoot and resolve design and manufacturing issues.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

• Past experience in Offshore O&G installation tool design.
