AVENTA is seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Superintendent for a highly strategic EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project: the construction of the new Ricanto Bioenergy Plant in Ajaccio, Corsica.

📝 Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Superintendent will report to the Site Manager and will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all mechanical assembly activities on site, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, schedules, and safety standards. Duties include:

• Technical Supervision: Overseeing and coordinating the installation of static equipment, rotating machinery, piping, and steel structures in compliance with drawings, project specifications, and current regulations.

• Site Management: Planning, organizing, and directing work teams and mechanical subcontractors. Monitoring work progress and preparing periodic reports.

• Quality and Safety: Ensuring that all activities are carried out in compliance with quality standards and rigorous HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) project procedures.

• Problem Resolution: Promptly identifying technical or logistical issues and implementing effective solutions to maintain workflow.

• Testing and Handover: Participating in pre-commissioning and testing activities (punch-list) until the final handover of the plant.

✅ Mandatory Requirements (Must-Have)

To apply for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

• EPC Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervising mechanical assembly within the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) sector, preferably in industrial plants (Oil & Gas, Power, Bioenergy, Chemical).

• Citizenship: Must hold European citizenship.

• French Language: Fluent command (spoken and written) of the French language.
