Role Definition

For one of our most important client, active in the offshore Oil&Gas industry we are looking for a Naval Architect part of the Naval and Marine Operation Team in Basingstoke, UK to support our client’s activities worldwide on different projects and provide technical leadership within the naval and marine operation discipline. Supporting review and monitoring of currently ongoing projects for new floating LNG facilities, Fixed platforms, pipelines and subsea installation structures.

Qualification

Candidate must be highly experienced with design and execution of floating structures as well as mooring systems and installation of fixed platforms. Significant experience of use of software such as SESAM Package and Orcaflex would be a major advantage for this position. Experience of hull structural design, willingness and ability to perform different types of Naval analyses (Hull structures, Stability, Hydrodynamics and Installation Analysis) would be advantageous.

Conditions

British nationality or already eligible to work in the UK

SmartWorking for up to 12 working days/month from home or a similar secure UK location and these 12 days can be available even where personnel are on leave for a portion of the month. As such, typically around 60% of time working remotely is available for individuals who wish to take advantage of this.
