OCR – Laying / Loading / Preparation / Repair – CELTIC

Role Definition

The scope for those operations is:

–        Cable Route Preparatory Works, with a run of Pre-Lay Grapnel, installation of concrete mattresses at crossing points, OOS cutting and pre-lay survey,

–        Cable Loading at Cable Contractor’s premises,

–        Cable Laying with a dedicated Cable Lay Vessel,

–        Cable Repair with a dedicated Cable Lay Vessel.

Detailed schedule is provided in section 2. Please note that schedule is subject to change, especially the Loading, Laying and Survey activities. Updates will be provided by CIDAC based on latest information received from Nexans.

Several vessels are planned to be mobilized for this scope of works and remains to be confirmed:

–        OLYMPIC DELTA (*) for Preparatory Works,

–        CALYPSO (*) for Cable Loading and Laying,

–        NEXANS AURORA (*) for Cable Repair.

CIDAC is seeking OCR for those operations as following:

–        2 OCR onboard each vessel (*)

(*): offshore operations will be 24/7 with accommodation provided onboard vessel. Rotations are planned every 4 weeks (with some flexibility)

The OCRs should be fluent in English.
