Role Definition

Aventa is looking for an Offshore Data Processor for his client:

As a Data Processor you will be an essential part of the offshore team. You will primarily be processing subsea vehicle navigation, multibeam and cable/pipe track data. You are expected to be able to process and QC data at every stage, from acquisition to final product, and assist the Senior Data Processor to ensure that our data meets the project specifications. You will be working on rotation on our client vessel in Saint Brieuc, France.

The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Assist the Senior Data Processor in the mobilisation and calibration procedure

Process independently and QC MBES, INS, cable/pipe track data, and produce final products;

Lead occasionally the data processing on smaller scale projects;

Communicate with the Senior Data Processor or Data Processing Advisor to ensure data acquisition meets the project requirements.

Qualification

Minimum 2 year’s relevant experience in Data Processing including:

Experience with ROV operations;

Experience in survey equipment such as : EIVA NaviEdit / NaviModel // ixBlue Delhins // ArcGIS // Autocad // Excel // Forum DVR /// EIVA Navipac ver. 4.5 // ROVINS // Naviscan // MBES Norbit & R2Sonic // HiPap // Valeport `SVS, SVP & CTD // TSS dual // ADCP Teledyne // Forum DVR Overlay // Valeport IPS Depth Sensor // DGPS Fugro & Kongsberg // Seapath 380

Understanding of geodesy;

Knowledge of industry standards;

Meticulous with an ability to work under pressure;

Team player with excellent communication skills.
