Role Definition

Scope : 

Implement HSE management systems at site / field level, according to the Company HSE guidelines and standards. Ensure the management of all the HSE issues for the site / field. The offshore HSE representative reports to Project HSE Management

Provide necessary support to ensure the correct development, management and improvement of the Project HSE Management System throughout the construction and installation phases (EPIC Projects) of the project:

•      Provide necessary support to ensure that all construction activities carried out by Company and subcontractors are conducted in strict accordance with the Client HSERequirements, applicable local legislation, International Standards (ISO14001and OSHAS18001).

•      Provide necessary support to ensure that Project HSE plans and Procedures are developed and implemented throughout the entire project life

•      identify safety criticalities and environmental sensitive areas and design and implement mitigation measures

•      Lead accident / incident investigation

•      Participate in site HSE risk management and Occupational Safety Risk Assessment

•      Act as HSE focal point for the work developed at site / field level

•      Ensure the emergency response planfor any identified potential event are tested and applied

•      perform HSE inspections on aweekly basis at site level

•      Promote environmental and safetyawareness among the workforce and hold regular site meetings with supervisors,workers, sub-contractors

•      Provide HSE support and advice tothe project/site management

•      Interface with ClientRepresentative and Authorities

•      Ensure protection of EnvironmentalSensitive areas

•      Ensure the implementation of spill prevention and contingency plan, Waste/Chemical/Water Management Plan

•      Ensure Project HSE training and induction programs implementation at site level

•      HSE KPI reporting to Project HSEmanagement level

•      Safety Observation Card management and reporting to Project HSE management level

Qualification

•      High School level

•      BOSIET plus offshore medicalfitness certificate

•      NEBOSH

•      Minimum 5 years of experience inconstruction offshore business in similar position

•      English language and french language

•      ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001

•      ISM, ISPS, MLC, ILO preferred

•      Experience of HSE Management System

Conditions

1 month onshore in order to prepare the documentation. 

1 or 2  rotation of 4x4
