Role Definition

A.   ROLE & DUTY

The scope is limited to a function within the Bids & Proposal.

B.    RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Participate to:

• Bids progress meeting,
• Engineering co-ordination meetings
• Interface meetings with Sub-Contractors
• Technical review meeting (concerning Procurement, Engineering, Fabrication, Operation, Interface)
• HSE/HIRA & ROKM meetings

·      In charge of:

• Review the ITT documentation such as the Tender Bulletins, SOW, Specifications..
• Prepare the Installation SOW (list of all items to be transported and installed);
• Perform feasibility studies (structure lifting or pipe laying capacity, …);
• Involve STD group for ROV activities;
• Interfaces with other disciplines for inputs (welding rates, field joint coating timing and processes,…) or verifications (analysis, structure, pre-commissioning, …);
• Collect & compile within the INMET Department the method statements and drawings to cover most of the installation scope;
• Prepare new installation method statements and drawings (when necessary) with assistance of the Method Draftsmen Office;
• Estimate installation durations;
• Prepare, issue and update the installation schedule;
• Estimate Weather Stand-by;
• Prepare Technical clarifications & qualifications;
• Prepare installation aids and rigging lists;
• Define and set the required asset equipment to be discussed and confirmed by Operation Department;
• Prepare transportation plan;
• Prepare sea-fastening lists;
• Technical support for any presentation for the scope

C.   INTERFACES

·      Design:

• Provide the input data as needed for the design engineering
• Follow-up, gather and comment design data regarding the design engineering

·      HSE:

• Support for Risk Assessment on installation principle and follow-up of corrective actions

·      Risk:

Support for ROKM on installation principle and follow-up of corrective actions

·      Opertations:

• Ensure that the equipment, installation aids & material requirements are well transmitted and received through a turn-around file (e.g.: Material List)
• Technical support for Spread & Equipment Engineering (drawings, SOP, layout…)
• Technical support for Spread & Equipment definition within his Installation Engineering competencies;
• Review of Subcontractor technical documentation (e.g. procedures, reports) and provide input data as required within his Installation Engineering competencies
• Organize, gather and check data from Subcontractors needed for the installation engineering

·      Subcontract-Procurement:

• Review of Subcontractor technical documentation (e.g. procedures, reports) and provide input data as required within his Installation Engineering competencies
• Organize, gather and check data from Subcontractors needed for the installation engineering
• Support or Issue, update & follow-up of the Technical Bid Evaluations within his Installation Engineering competencies;
• Manage, gather and check data from Subcontractors needed for the installation engineering

Qualification

• English mandatory
• Experience on similar job
• Bosiet & MFC
