Role Definition
OVERVIEW OF ROLE
You will provide Level 3 services for the business in PAUT, TOFD, AUT and general NDT disciplines. Responsible for procedure reviews, validation of results, reviewing specifications and NDT operator qualifications.

Provide support to tenders on all NDT matters.

Consult on all NDT and Inspection work undertaken within relevant project team.

Ensure that client’s needs are satisfied for all Technical, Quality, Safety and

Environmental matters related to carrying out NDT functions.

Provide effective, useful, timely and meaningful support to projects in order to achieve contractual obligations.

Promote companywide best practice in accordance with the Quality Management System
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review and approve Contractors NDT procedures.
• Witness & provide technical guidance on standard PAUT/TOFD & AUT validations.
• Provide technical support for inspection auditing activities and provide effective audit programming for companywide NDT activities.
• Reviewing and commenting on standards, specifications, and enquiries.
• Work as part of a team to ensure all regulatory, quality and customer requirements are met.
• Endeavor to provide innovative solutions.
• Cascade technical information when appropriate.
• Verify NDT and inspection reports as required.
• Continuously advise on NDT procedures and standards on behalf of the company, and on request for specific project requirements.
CAPABILITY PROFILE-KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND BEHAVIOURS
• Knowledge of quality systems within the Oil & Gas Industry
• ISO 9712 Level 3 in PAUT & TOFD
• ISO 9712 level 2 in AUT data analysis
• PCN level 3 radiography or equivalent
• PCN level 3 ultrasonics or equivalent
• PCN level 3 MPI/DPI or equivalent
• Good knowledge of standard PAUT/TOFD & Automated ultrasonic testing (AUT) systems
• Good knowledge and experience with AUT standards e.g., DNV-ST-F101
• Good knowledge of AUT validations, acceptance criteria & ECA’s
• Good knowledge and experience of ISO/IEC 17025
• Quality assurance qualification or equivalent experience
• Highly organised
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Fluent in English Language.
