Role summary
Our client, a leading construction company, is seeking a Procurement & Logistics Officer to support their microtunneling project in Northern Angola. The project, commissioned by a major oil & gas group, involves a 1 km microtunnel starting from a cliff and extending into the ocean.
Responsibilities and Duties

Oversee procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and equipment.

Manage logistics and supply chain operations to support the project’s needs.

Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations for procurement and logistics.

Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and transport providers to optimize delivery schedules.

Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records.

Collaborate with project teams to anticipate material and logistical requirements.

Address any supply chain disruptions and implement corrective measures.
Sought Profile

Previous experience in procurement and logistics, preferably in construction or oil & gas industries.

Strong organizational and negotiation skills.

Familiarity with local and international procurement regulations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Fluent in English; knowledge of Portuguese is a strong advantage.

Priority will be given to Angolan candidates due to administrative and linguistic considerations.
