Role Definition
Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Quality Technician to assist the Quality Manager in overseeing the quality assurance process during the fabrication of bundles for the INELFE project. The position involves detailed documentation management, monitoring the fabrication process, and closing punch lists. The role is located at Le Verdon-sur-Mer (33), with occasional travel to vendor sites . This is an excellent opportunity for a beginner with a quality assurance profile, offering hands-on experience in an industrial environment. Proficiency in English is required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Qulaity Manager in monitoring and ensuring the quality standards during the fabrication of bundles.
• Document drafting and tracking, ensuring that all fabrication processes are accurately recorded and reported.
• Perform regular checks and assist in the management of punch lists, ensuring all quality non-conformities are resolved and closed.
• Oversee and assess the quality of PEHD welding, steel and concrete prefabrication, and dimensional controls throughout the fabrication process.
• Conduct quality inspections on-site to ensure adherence to established standards and specifications.
• Maintain comprehensive quality assurance documentation, preparing reports on quality control processes and outcomes.
• Collaborate with fabrication teams to ensure any issues are resolved in a timely manner, reporting directly to the QUA Manager.
• Participate in prefabrication inspections during occasional travel to supplier sites in France.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations during all stages of fabrication.
Qualification
Beginner profiles are welcome, provided they have a foundational understanding of quality assurance processes and documentation.
• Basic knowledge of industrial fabrication processes, including PEHD welding, steel and concrete prefabrication, and dimensional controls.
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to supplier sites (Departments 44, 56, and 25).
Conditions
Work Location: On-site in Le Verdon-sur-Mer, Gironde (33), with occasional travel to fabrication sites in Departments 44, 56, and 25.
• Duration: Full-time position, with a contract running until March 2025.
