Quantity Surveyor (Milan HQ – Medium)

Role Definition

Support Project Manager and Project Control Manager for cost control activities.

Ensure correct monitoring of the different phases of the project through the Project Control standard tools.

KEYDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

.  Helping Project Manager in collecting all the needed info for the ongoing works on site

·  Create and organize databases for monitoring physical progress on site

·  Support analysis of cable manufacturing cost evolution by way of market indexes and other industrial references for materials and commodities

·  Tracking costs with dedicated tools

·  Support in preparing claims

·  Cost analysis for variation orders

·  Ensuring that documents and updates are issued on a regular basis

·  Uploading and referencing documents into the company SharePoint system

·  Actively participate in team meetings and provide updates to different members of project team

·  Promote good relations with client /3rd party Project Control Engineers

·  Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents
