Role Definition

Integrated within the Riser team the engineer will be supporting tender and/or project for thevarious analysesIn place Global analyses of riser systems for flexible, umbilical and rigid pipes(Fatigue, interference, extreme, …)In place static analyses of flexible jumpersinstallation analyses of flexible, umbilical , deployment of structure, accelerations 

Qualification

Capability profile Knowledge, skills, experience :

MSc or Phd in mechanical engineering/hydrodynamics, you have at least 6/7 years of relevantwork experience in the oil and gas industry or equivalent, onto Installation Analyses and/or inplace design of riser/flexible backgroundYou are proficient in FEA modeling and you have strong knowledge of Orcaflex software.

Your English is fluentStrong knowledge of DNV RPC205, DNV RPH103

OrcaFlex, Python, Shear7

Personal Attributes:

Undertake responsibility for production of deliverables, which may include engineeringsupport to DO, design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bidevaluations, study reports and various 3rd-party submissions.Experience in working in a multi-disciplined systems engineering teamAbility to prioritise own workload, manage time accordingly and inform team members whereconstraints will affect a project in terms of programme or budget.Personnal interest for analyses tools and development (Python, VBA, …)Demonstrable ability to work within time/budget constraintsAbility in working in multicultural group
