Role Definition

Description of Project/Role and Main Responsibilities

A Senior Engineer, HSE is required to act as the execution phase HSE focal point on behalf of the client to ensure full regulatory compliance of contractors during decommissioning and installation through to commissioning.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• HSE focal point for offshore decommissioning and installation execution

• Review of decommissioning and installation design documentationHSE reporting

• Ensuring compliance with all permit commitment and conditions

• Stakeholder engagement

• Contractor interface

Safety case planning support to duty holder

Candidate’s qualifications, professional experience and skills

Experience of working within an offshore demolition /construction project

• PLANC experience

• EPC

• Offshore execution project

• Site audits

• Stakeholder engagement

• Contractor management

• Safety case development

• CCS experience

• Environmental Appraisal

• Decommissioning Programme

• CDM

• BOSIET

• BSc in environmental or safety discipline or equivalent
