Role Definition

Responsabilities:

We are looking for Hydrodynamic / Mooring Engineers to satisfy the growing demands from our customers, especially within hydrodynamic and structural analysis for marine renewable energies and oil & gas floating system units.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Modeling of structures in hydrodynamics software;
  • Analysis for both renewable energies and Oil & Gas;
  • Write and check calculation notes, analysis reports, specification of materials;
  • Support to the commercial department: writing of offers.

 

Qualification

Skill & Experience:

  • Master Degree in engineering (Naval architecture, Ocean, Mechanical or Marine)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with design and engineering of offshore floating structures (e.g. FPSO, Semi-submersibles, TLPs, FLNG, mooring terminals)
  • Experience with some of the following software: Deeplines, Orcaflex, Orcawave, WAMIT, AQWA, MOSES, Hydrostar, Ariane
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, Matlab)
  • Good communication skills. Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • A good team player. Self-motivated with a drive for results, improvement and innovation
