Role Description and Main Responsibilities
A Senior Naval Engineer is required as part of the Naval and Marine Operation Team in Basingstoke, UK to support Company’s activities worldwide on different projects and provide technical leadership within the naval and marine operation discipline.
Supporting reviewing and monitoring of currently ongoing projects for new floating LNG facilities, Fixed platforms, pipelines and subsea installation structures.
Qualification
Required qualifications and professional experience
Candidate must be highly experienced with design and execution of floating structures as well as mooring systems and installation of fixed platforms.
Significant experience of use of software such as SESAM Package and Orcaflex would be a major advantage for this position.
Experience of hull structural design, willingness and ability to perform different types of Naval analyses (Hull structures, Stability, Hydrodynamics and Installation Analysis) would be advantageous.
Conditions
Office based in Basingstoke (UK).
Depending on candidate experience, hybrid working can be considered, with up to 60% of time worked remotely.
