Support for design & manufacturing fo umbilical team in Brazil

Role Definition

Support the COMPANY Development Team during Project Execution Phase in the engineering, detail design, manufacturing and testing of the Project Deepwater Umbilical System : 

• Review and approve the design performed by a Third Party Contractor (including specifications, reports, calculation notes, analyses, drawings, datasheets, technical notes) of a deepwater Umbilical system and relevant ancillary equipment, ensuring that it meets project objectives, industry standards and best practice for safety, reliability and cost.
• Interface with Subsea control System design.
• Monitor the Third Party Contractor performance.
• Site Supervisor as Company Representative during Umbilical Manufacturing and Testing activities, including ancillary equipment.
• Offshore Assistance during Umbilical Installation and Pre-commissioning activities onboard Installation Vessels and/or FPSO.
• The candidate must be willing and able to international travels.

Qualification

Ensure consistency, quality and cost effectiveness of the project design of Umbilical System carried out by a Third Party Contractor, in compliance with International Standards, Project Specifications, Company guidelines and engineering best practices.

• Ensure delivery of the Umbilical System in line with the Project objectives, requirements and technical interfaces.
• Ensure the exchange of interfaces with Subsea Control System
• Ensure the performance, install-ability and operability of the Umbilical System
• Select the best technical/economical solutions for the Umbilical System, ensuring overall technical integrity.
• Understand Client needs, identify and address problems; propose, develop and implement solutions.
• Site inspection and Interfacing with the Third Party Contractor on Technical and Delivery issues.
• Offshore Assistance during Umbilical Installation and Pre-commissioning activities onboard Installation Vessels and/or FPSO
