Structural Analysis Engineer

Role Definition

We are looking for a talented Senior Offshore Structure Engineer

The candidate is required to have the following skills:

• Experience in offshore structural design, in particular:

                  o   Design of subsea equipment and accessories 

                  o   Detailed FEM analyses to evaluate peculiar aspects (impact analyses,  blast analyses, damage behavior, SCF of detailed not reported in the international code).

• General experience in offshore structural materials, fabrication and installation aspects
• Experience in definition and follow-up of tender documentation for offshore structures design;
• Experience with computer tools relevant to perform above activities (e.g. ABAQUS, SESAM, ANSYS, etc);
• Aptitude to work with people of different technical and cultural background,
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to convey technical information between project management and stakeholder;
• Ability to suggest innovative solutions;
• Proactive approach in decisional process;
• Availability to travel abroad (both short and long term);
• Good knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office package AUTOCAD or similar.
• Execution of structural analysis
• Collaboration with OffshoreStructure team leaders in defining best technical solutions for the designingof offshore structures (both substructures and topsides)
• Teamwork and collaboration with immediate and wider teams
• Liaise with other disciplines during project execution
• Awareness of pipeline design standard requirements and correct application of Company HSEQ policies/ 

Qualification

• Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline such as Civil Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Structural Engineering or Aerospace Engineering (with focus on structures)
