Structural Engineer

Role Definition

DESCRIPTION :

We are looking for Structural engineer with 5 years of experience in offshore structure for a wind farm project in France.

• Application on previous project of the standards for structure of at least two of the following:

  • DNV-RP-C203, DNV-OSC101&201

  • API-RP-2A WSD/LRFD & AISC 9th Edition

  • Eurocode 3 Any knowledge specific to Wind Farm project (fixe or floating) would be appreciate, such as DNV-ST-0437/0126/0119 or equivalent.

• Use on previous project of beam software SACS (MANDATORY) and hand calculations.

• Use on previous project of ABAQUS (2D shell and 3D solid) at best or equivalent FEA software.

• On previous project, experience offatigue assessment and proposal of remedial actions.

• Autonomy in the practice of design and calculation. Proposal of solutions to thelead on project.

• On previous projects, reviews of drawings, work in cooperation with draftsman, commitment on data provided todraftmen in advanced phase.

• English (write & oral ) is mandatory / French speaker ideally .
