Role Description

Aventa group is actively looking for a Structural Engineer to support our team with In-Place analyses of Cable Protection Systems (CPS),  Bend Stiffeners for floating wind applications and other specialistic studies in the Energy Sector.  

 

Must Have

  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering 
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Proven experience in modelling complex non-linear behaviour
  • Experience in modeling of different classes of materials including polymers
  • Willing to learn new skills and tools (e.g. FEA Modelling of Energy Cables, etc)
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

 

It will be considered a plus:

  • Experience with calibration, verification, and validation of models through physical testing
  • Previous experience in modelling Cable Protection Systems (CPS)
  • Previous experience with FEA Thermal Analyses
  • Previous experience with Fatigue Analyses

 

 

Qualification

MSc in mechanical engineering degree in mandatory

Conditions

Full remote is possible but ideally based in GENOVA (IT) or BIARRITZ (FR)

  • Location: Full remote with possibility to be based in our engineering office in France (Biarritz) or Italy (Genova)
