KAOMBO OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE PROJECT

Role Definition

Mission : 

Supervision role in the procurement, post order, shipping processes/strategy of material needed for onshore stock area and maintenance offshore for 2 FPSOs in Angola à control, debug and improve.

Ensure that supply Chain (procurement and post-order) activities are planned, executed and managed so that goods and services are procured and made available in accordance with Company and Project’s needs.

Maximize the efficiency of the Procurement and Post order process in accordance with Business objectives and needs.

Position overview :

Reporting to the Projects Manager, the Supply Chain Manager is overseeing and acting on the Supply Chain activities including the procurement and the delivery of Spare Parts, Consumables, Services, Chemicals and non-routine material repair/replacement.

The main responsibility is to deliver the supply chain scope in accordance with material and services requested from offshore and store with focus on priorities and project offshore activities scheduled.

Qualification

• Preferably O&G background
• Expertise in one or more areas of the supply chain activities
• Experience in project and/or package managerment
• Leadership and ability to coach and guide colleagues
• Experienced in Contractual and commercial negotations
• Technical awarness and ability to understand technical discussions
• Ability to manage concurrently multiple, complex and challenging requests : knowledge in Material Importation in angola is a plus
• Knowledge in SAP transaction related to purchse requisition, purchase order, expediting and shipping
• Knowledge in Office is also a plus
• Delivery oriented (risk approach, converge,ce plan, etc.)
• Verbal and written communication skills in English (Portugues is a plus as well)
• Teamwork in multi cultural environment
• This position required regular visits in Angola (3/4 per year)
