For one of our clients, a major international EPCI contractor, we are looking for a Deputy Project Fabrication Manager to join the fabrication team on the G-PAJ / WHT projects, reporting to the Project Fabrication Manager.

Description
What you will do
Ensure project governance across organisational, financial, technological and contractual aspects
Plan, coordinate and control project execution in line with client requirements, on time and on cost
Evaluate site technical queries (STQ) from the Yard and propose solutions
Manage the interface between engineering & procurement and fabrication work front analysis
Assess the impact of fabrication issues on schedule and propose recovery actions
Manage NCR and MOC processes
Lead technical meetings with stakeholders and consolidate minutes
Act as a safety leader, applying risk assessment processes and ensuring compliance with HSE and quality procedures
Required Qualification
What you bring
Engineering degree
Consolidated experience in O&G fabrication of subsea structures (PLET/PLEM), associated steel structures and piping
Strong understanding of welding (WPS, PQR, welder qualifications, NDT methods)
Familiarity with fabrication sequences and constructability constraints
Knowledge of structural steel codes (AWS D1.1 or equivalent) and piping codes (ASME B31.3, DNV-RP-B204)
Comfortable managing material availability, MTO and substitutions
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, Navisworks, Microsoft Project, Primavera; SAP a plus
Fluent English; French recommended; Portuguese a plus
Comfortable working in a multicultural team environment, stress-resilient, proactive
Valid BOSIET, MFC and Yellow Fever certifications
