Project scope
Within the As-Built service, the Designer manages plans after an engineering project and updates them to as-built configuration for high voltage in line with standards, to make quality plans available. This covers following up as-built HV plan update requests (after redlining or technicians' work), quality control of HV plans, collaboration with internal and external actors for quality and coherence, participation in post-study handover meetings (at the client's offices and/or in substations), respecting the planning, applying and updating the HV drawing methodology with other disciplines, and the archiving and administrative management of plans and their metadata. Onsite at the Crealys (Gembloux) site and at HV substations.
Required Qualification
Role overview
To produce and maintain accurate, quality as-built high-voltage plans, managing updates, quality control, methodology and archiving in coordination with the disciplines.
Reporting line: You will work within the As-Built service, collaborating with internal and external actors and participating in post-study handovers.
Key responsibilities
As-built plan management
Manage and update plans to as-built HV configuration in line with standards to deliver quality plans
Follow up as-built HV plan update requests after redlining or technicians' work
Carry out quality control of HV plans and improve them where needed
Methodology and coordination
Apply and update the HV drawing methodology together with the other disciplines
Collaborate with internal and external actors and participate in post-study handover meetings
Manage the archiving and administrative handling of plans and their metadata, respecting the planning
Key deliverables
As-built HV plans updated to standard and made available
Update requests followed up and HV plans quality-controlled
HV drawing methodology applied and kept up to date
Plans and metadata archived and administered on schedule
Requirements
Education
Relevant bachelor's degree.
Experience
Must-have: At least 3 years of experience as a designer
Must-have: Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
Must-have: Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook)
Nice-to-have: As-built HV designer experience; knowledge of as-built HV processes, ProjectWise and the client's grid an asset
Technical skills
AutoCAD and MicroStation
HV drawing methodology, quality control and document/metadata management
Soft skills
Team-oriented, flexible, positive, client-focused, detail-oriented, organised and pragmatic
French, mandatory; knowledge of Dutch an advantage
