About the job
For one of our clients, a major international EPCI contractor, we are looking for an Offshore Data Processor to support survey and positioning data processing activities, particularly multibeam data, on offshore Oil & Gas projects.

A long-term assignment within a major international EPCI contractor's survey team on an offshore Oil & Gas project, based in the Paris area (Puteaux or Montigny-le-Bretonneux), with offshore missions as required by the project.
Description
What you will do
Process survey and positioning data, in particular multibeam data
Assist with the installation of survey and positioning equipment and software
Support Online Surveyors with sensor calibration and checks
Install, configure and network data processing systems, hardware, printers and archiving systems
Monitor data flow, storage, format and quality
Plan data processing workflows and produce survey reports per project requirements
Prepare and check project databases and reference files, ensuring the latest versions are used
Apply project geodetic parameters correctly in processing and mapping procedures
Assess progress and flag potential issues, including rework or infill surveys
Ensure proper data storage and backup, with full traceability from acquisition to final delivery
Perform quality control on all processed datasets per project acceptance criteria
Predict tide levels using harmonic constituents and co-tidal data
Compile comprehensive survey reports with input from other Survey disciplines
Provide a final report detailing data issues encountered and solutions applied
Check and verify all charts, digital deliverables and field reports as required
Monitor real-time data acquisition in coordination with the Online Surveyor
Required Qualification
What you bring
Bachelor of Science or Master of Science
Proficiency with Eiva Naviedit and Navimodel
Fluent English, written and spoken
BOSIET (OPITO) + CAEBS, valid Medical Fitness Certificate
