Offshore Substation Expert – Operation & Maintenance
Published on March 30, 2026
Description
Project details
The assignment is based within the Engineering Expertise Department of the client, which holds ownership of the Employer Requirement Specifications (ERS) for all offshore substations and provides technical support across two main workstreams:
• EPCIC support — reviewing and commenting on technical deliverables from bidders and awarded contractors during project execution phases
• O&M support — preparing maintenance strategies, tendering O&M contracts, and supporting maintenance teams from preparation through to substation delivery
The consultant will be integrated full-time within this department, working alongside expert engineers on both HVAC and HVDC offshore substation topics. The role is focused specifically on O&M expertise, with a direct contribution to defining asset management strategies and preparing O&M tender documentation for the client's offshore substation portfolio.
