Hook-Up and Commissioning Lead H/F

Role Definition

DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION

The Hook-up and Commissionning Lead (HUC lead) is the Project representative offshore.

He / she is responsible for topsides works on a specific platform (greenfield project or brownfield project).

He / she is responsible to liaise with Client representative on site.

He / she is responsible to identify the requirement in term of personnel, tools and equipment offshore.

He / she is in charge to supervise the Hook-up and Completion activities offshore.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate actively in safe preparation and execution of the offshore activities

• Report safety observations regularly in order to maintain high safety standard level in the work site

• Is the project Single Point of Contact, and interface with the Client representatives

• Review and update offshore planning

• Review and report physical progress

• Ensure good coordination between hook-up and completion activities in order to achieve progress as planned.

• Ensure everybody offshore is respecting applicable rules, regulations and Project Procedures.

AUTHORITY/DIMENSIONS

• Technical decision relative to scope of work.

• Full set-up and organization of Hook-up and completion resources.

• Responsible to the whole personnel resources planning offshore 

Qualification

• Good Knowledge with fabrication and/or installation methods

• Knowledge with pre-commissioning and commissioning of Topsides

• Ability to propose decision on Technical, Resources, Procurement

• Ability to demonstrate leadership in relation to both client and own personnel

• 5 years minimum of relevant work experience is preferred

• Good knowledge of standard office software (MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio).

• Fluent in English Language – speaking & writing.
