Role Definition
Aventa is currently looking on behalf of one of the market leader in offshore marine services a HSE Engineer to support the QHSE team on exciting projects.
- Support the Project HSE Engineer in dealing with Clients with relation to HSE matters and relevant contractual requirements.
- Promotion of a high standard of HSE leadership and culture
- Contribution to the preparation and update of the Project HSE Plans and HSE procedures.
- Assistance in Risk Management process
- HSE Readiness Reviews prior to mobilization on worksites and offshore
- HSE operational risk analyses prior to the execution of operations/tasks
- Follow-up of development, management, and improvement of Project HSE Management system on each worksite and offshore throughout all phases of the package
- Ensure HSE coordination and compliance with the company policy procedures and to coordinate with local team to implement all the actions required for a proper implementation of HSE culture and methodologies.
- Ensure vessel operation are carried on complying with ISM Code rules, SOLAS, and MARPOL
- Review and approval of all Contractor’s required HSE deliverables HSE audits through.
- HSE inspections, self-assessments, and audits
Technical Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of HSE Management experience, within EPCI work environment, including Onshore and Offshore Construction, Installation activities and vessel operation.
- Experience in risk assessments, incident investigations, audits.
- Self-dependent work behaviour and flexibility are essential.
- Effective communication skills
- Certificate required: Bosiet or GWO
