Subsea Precommissioning Senior Engineer H/F

The RAIA project is the development of an offshore gas field off the coast of Brazil in the state of Rio de Janeiro.

Equinor, in partnership with Repsol Sinopec Brasil and Petrobras, is the owner of the block BM-C-33 on which they are conducting two developments called Raia Manta and Raia Pintada.

Equinor is managing an integrated Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) project on Raia.

The contract covers the entire subsea system, including subsea tree systems, manifolds, jumpers, risers and flowlines, umbilicals, pipeline end terminations, subsea distribution and topside control equipment, and installation. 

Role Definition

Responsibilities:

• Define and be accountable for the installation methodologies defined on the project/tender

• Prepare and perform the required deliverables and activities as allocated by the Project Lead

• Ensure the reporting of the Installation Engineering activities to your management

• Ensure of the quality of the documentations and the respect of the Client’s Standards in terms of QHSE

• Interface with the other Subsea Disciplines (Engineering, Operations, QHSE,…)

• Participate in the consolidation & sharing of the engineering team expertise and know-how

• Propose innovative methodologies to increase the competitivity of our offers

• As required, support your Project Lead in supervising other installation packages or engineers

Qualification

Profile

To succeed in this position; you should have the following skills & experience:

• Graduated with a Master of Engineering (ideally with specialization in Offshore Industry, Naval architecture) with a minimum of 4 years experience in an installation / operation role

• Miniumum 10 years of experience in Precommissioning subsea flexible & umbilical

• Good knowledge of offshore installation

• Good experience of the offshore operations, preferably in flexible, umbilical installations including tests with subsea pumps

• Good experience on umbilicals electrical and hydraulic testings.

• Good experience on prepation of local site

• Good experience in preparing and manging a Completion system

• Good communication skills, capacity to manage and work with a multi-cultural team

• Ability to transmit your knowledge.

• Mobility to support the operations during the execution phase according to the project schedule

• Proficiency in English (spoken, written) is a must

• Dynamic personality, able to adapt to change, able to deal with pressure and with good inter-personal skills
