Role Definition

Role description:

We are looking for a PeM design engineer (OSS) for AO5-6 projects.

  • Reporting to the PeM AO5-6 team and under the responsibility of the PEM lot manager, his/her missions will be as follows:
  • Supervision of external PEM design studies (specification of studies and control of associated technical deliverables)
  • Steering or contributing (depending on profile) to internal studies: UXO, anti-scour protection, cathodic protection, lifting studies, PEM maintenance, etc.
  • Drafting of technical specifications for contracts (EPCI Poste En Mer AO5-6 call for tenders).
  • Major contributor to tender and negotiation stages (development of criteria, technical clarifications, analysis of technical offers, evaluation of candidates, participation in meetings, etc.).
  • Leading or contributing (depending on profile) to the certification process of the offshore station.
  • Steering or contributing (depending on profile) to the specifications of the Submarine Link contract, interfacing with the EMP
  • Steering or contributing (depending on profile) to studies carried out as part of the consultation process
  • Contribution to strategic technical decisions concerning project development and decision-making files (costing, risks).

Deliverables :

  • Deliverables defined in the CCTP (weekly reports, etc…)

Qualification

  • 4/5 years’ higher education (engineering or postgraduate diploma)
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the design, construction and installation of offshore platforms, preferably in the MRE (Marine Renewable Energies) sector. Senior/experienced profiles in platform design/construction for offshore wind projects will be highly valued.
  • Electrical skills (HV and LV equipment used in substations) appreciated.
  • Fluency in English and French required (written and spoken)
  • Ability to integrate quickly into an existing project team
  • Strong synthesis skills
  • Good writing skills
  • Good interpersonal skills (numerous interactions with other RTE departments and with contract applicants)

Required travel: Travel on site and abroad (occasional) as needed; 

Location: Paris 2/3 days of face-to-face training per week;
