Senior HSE Engineer H/F

Role Definition

Aventa is currently looking on behalf of one of his major client a Senior HSE Engineer to be assigned to one of the main active project which includes offshore activities and SIMOPS activities.

HSE Activities

• Support the Project Manager in dealing with Clients with relation to HSE matters and relevant contractual requirements
• Promotion of a high standard of HSE leadership and culture
• Contribution to the preparation and update of the Project HSE Plans and HSE procedures
• Assistance in Risk Management process
• Organisation of joint HSE tours and follow-up of findings;
• HSE Readiness Reviews prior to mobilization on worksites and offshore
• HSE operational risk analyses prior to the execution of operations/tasks
• Implementation of HSE Management System
• Implementation of environmental requirements
• Follow-up of development, management and improvement of Project HSE Management System on each worksite and offshore throughout all phases of the package
• Review and approval of all Contractor’s required HSE deliverables HSE audits through HSE inspections, self-assessments and audits

Permit To Work (PTW) system

PTW system will cover the following activities:

• Act as a technical interface with the Client for permits preparation;
• Review and understand HSE Plans and Procedures;
• Contribution to the preparation and update of the Project HSE Plans and HSE procedures;
• Check if the offshore personnel certificates are in line with the requirements prior to the onboarding;
• Report to project manager outcome of analysis;
• Analyses and understands Client challenges.

Technical requirements

• Experience of O&G Projects or similar projects
• Experience in Development and follow up of QHSE management systems
• Experience in the management of PTW System
• Expertise in risk assessments, incident investigations, audits.
• Certificate required: Bosiet or GWO
