Senior Rigid Pipeline Engineer

Role Definition

A Senior Pipeline Engineer, to be based in UK, is required to support the development of our client’s new onshore and offshore projects worldwide.

Depending on the project needs and strategy, the Senior Pipeline Engineer shall act as Lead Engineer (e.g. coordinating a team of and internal or external specialist engineers in the performance of pipeline system design, assuring the quality, the consistency and the timely execution of the engineering activities) or shall perform directly the assigned design tasks (calculations and analyses), as well as shall prepare ITT packages and perform technical bid evaluations.

Qualification

Candidate must have experience in the design of Pipeline System and be familiar with the main international design codes and standards. Candidate shall have experience in performing directly and supervising FEED and EPC projects. Strong Familiarity with PET, SESAM, Autopipe, SAGE Profile is required. Experience with Finite Element programs (Ansys & Abaqus) and GIS is desirable.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required as well as ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment.

The Candidate shall have the attitude in managing and solving quickly complex problematics related to the design execution. Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to become familiar with the COMPANY standards is needed.
