Role Definition
Aventa is looking for its subsea valves specialist under the supervision and assisted by the discipline referent of our company’s entity:
- Ensure the technological watch for the discipline (construction codes, norms, standards, etc.) ASME, API, ISO, EN….
- Optimize and validate technological choices in the speciality.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Provide technical assistance and support to company’s Operations and Engineering Centers (recommendations, diagnostics, technical disputes).
- Guarantee the technical content of basic and detailed files.
Qualification
- Engineer specialized in subsea valves with a minimum of 5 years experience in charge of the preparation of associated technical specifications and the tabulation of technical bids,
- Study and analysis of technical offers from suppliers,
- Selection and qualification of suppliers according to technical compliance criteria,
- Knowledge of mechanical production,
- Fluency in English and French,
- Rigor and adaptability to follow the discipline’s internal technical guidelines.
